Jubilant scenes as Miller signs permanent deal
There were jubilant scenes at the Bentcliffe Avenue ground today as Stand & Be Counted today confirmed that Chelsea Miller's loan move from US franchise Elkhart would be made permanent for an undisclosed fee.
The diminutive Miller was initially signed 6 years ago as a student before becoming girlfriend and filling the role of wife just one year later. Co-Owner Stephen Dowson said ' I'm delighted to finally secure the permanent services of Chelsea. You can see what she means to the lads here and the effect she has had since she moved here. She works so hard day in day out so it was a no brainer to try and make the move permanent.' Chelsea spoke to the press soon after the news reached that the government had granted her a permanent contract. ' I'm really happy to making my move here permanent. I love the place and the people here. I can really see where my contribution has made a difference and it's been great helping the squad grow.' Rumours were abound that a permanent move might signal an intention to eventually play for Team GB. ' I'm just taking it one day at a time at the moment.' she said. Financial details have been kept secret over the cost of the move but co-owner Dowson was said to be 'fucking livid' at the eventual cost. Speaking outside the dining room senior cat Pangur Ban spoke of the news. 'meow' Clearly the club couldn't agree more.
